Wow. I am typing this message from my laptop. The only thing its connected to is the electricty. Electricty in a NEW apartment! I bet it even tastes better if you stick your tongue in the electric socket. Not that I'm going to do that, of course... though who knows... the Chinese food runs out eventually, and I may be tempted for a taste of the powah!

It will be at least one more day before I get to haul in my computer rig, but I've already set up a wireless network with my new Netgear wireless router/firewall. So here I sit, at the desk I just finished putting together, typing away at this message, eating Sesame Chicken out of a Chinese food box, and sporadically reading American Gods.

And there you have it. Both a joyful occassion, AND the reason I haven't yet posted pictures from a snowy Central Park... but it won't be long now!
